Thank goodness they don't have sheep in a Safari Park! It was quite fun though, driving through all the animal enclosures from the safety of the car.

Falkirk Wheel
Today we went to Falkirk and had a picnic at the Falkirk Wheel. It was very cool, we even got to see it in action. Isla and Rori liked it because there was a rather fabulous playground.

Baa Baa Sheep Song
There are a lot of nursery rhymes about sheep. I figured it was about time there was one written BY a sheep. The lyrics just came to me in the car on the way home from our holiday in the Lake District.
Baa Baa Sheep
Gonna eat up all them neep
Grow up big and strong
Grow your wool ever so long
So I can shear your wool
Get my 3 bags full
Gonna take it to be spun
Cuz knittings so much fun
My master won't get non
The dame and I are done
Gonna knit myself new clothes
From my head down to my toes
And if there's wool to spare
With the boy I will share
But he's gonna have to pay
Because nothings free today

Here are a few pictures from our adventure in Howwood last Sunday. It was brilliant!
I hope you had a great weekend too!

The Lake District
This past weekend we went down to the Lake District for a relaxing break. The weather was nice, it didn't rain until we were on our way home, yippee! We got to see some beautiful scenery, as well as part of Hadrian's Wall. I've been wanting to see that for ages, and it didn't disappoint. This post is picture heavy, but I am sure you will understand.

A new blog
Some people might wonder why I started this blog. The truth is, I've been traveling for years. From the time I joined Andi and Dave's family until this very day. It has been non-stop-whirlwind-adventure! From the castle's of Aberdeenshire to the desert of Arizona, I get around. My family has grown in that time too, and now I am joined by Isla and Rori, both 4 years old, and Jess the dog, 5 years old.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy my travelogue. I'll even try to dig into our mountain of pictures to when I was a lamb, and see what I can discover.
